MW3, Updates

MW3 Season 2 is gonna be great!

Whether you enjoy Multiplayer, Warzone, DMZ, Battle Royale and Resurgence, Ranked play or MWZ there’s a lot of new content heading our way on February 7th. I, for one, have been pulled into the MWZ grind and I’m still missing the refined crystal and speed cola schematics. But I’ve enjoyed the gameplay… Minus the emptied stash glitch; but then I started working with my tombstone. If you want the full details, be sure to check it out here! Resurgence and multiplayer are still a blast! I can’t wait for the season pass operators to drop so I can run as Rick or Michone with The Walking Dead crossover! And stop by to look around our updated website.

Infinity Ward Modern Warfare 2 Campaign

Modern Warfare 2 2022 Campaign Review Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Playthrough            On 10/20/22 Infinity Ward released the Modern Warfare 2 campaign to play through a week ahead of the multiplayer launch so you could grind through it and collect the rewards for finishing the missions. As I pre-purchased the Digital Vault Edition, I was able to play through the campaign, and I have to say I’m quite impressed. The graphics and gameplay mechanics are incredible! I enjoyed the playthrough and have attached a link to the gameplay footage of the missions.            There are 17 missions: · Strike · Kill or Capture · Wetwork · Tradecraft · Borderline · Cartel Protection · Close Air · Hardpoint · Recon By Fire · Violence and Timing · El Sin Nombre · Dark Water · Alone · Prison Break · Hindsight · Ghost Team · Countdown The gameplay was fun with the new mechanics blending well with the storyline and gameplay. It looks like the solo-unarmed gameplay in El Sin Nombre, Alone, and Countdown leads you to believe this playstyle is how you will start out the new missions in the new DMZ mode that will be released 11/16/22 when WARZONE 2.0 releases. Really looking forward to these as well. Tradecraft was visually one of the best missions to experience. Visually stunning. It was like walking the streets in Amsterdam. There are many photos you can look up online where they compare the location to the in game render. I highly recommend checking it out! Close Air was also tough because I fired close to buildings and hit some innocents while targeting the enemies. I made more mistakes than I should have, but it was a great mission and I enjoyed it! The mission entitled Violence and Timing is one of the toughest ones I played because… well my timing was not just right! I died so many times over and over again to figure out how to jump, shoot, dodge, hijack, plant bombs…. I had to take a break before completing it. Dark Water was probably my favorite mission as the scenery was familiar. I really enjoyed making my way through the platform, the quarters, the ship and to the end. It was fun and challenging. The attention to detail and the physical mechanics on this mission were top notch! I won’t go into the full details on it, but check out the YouTube channel, watch a video or 2, and don’t forget to look around the website! underdoggamingsystems.com

Infinity Wards Modern Warfare 2 Beta Review

Infinity Ward’s Modern Warfare 2 Beta was a blast! Watch the review here: MW2 Beta Review Gameplay Video There’s been a lot of comments on the multitude of changes Infinity Ward has made to the upcoming release. You’re always going to have those people whose only comment is ‘FIX YOUR GAME’ but that’s non-productive. I went into the beta excited for the new release and jumped right in to see what it’s all about. Here’s my take on the beta.                Let’s get the needs improvement category out of the way first, remembering this was a BETA. The UI is blocky, clunky, and confusing compared to what Call of Duty players are used to. Slide cancelling is no longer a thing, so brush up on your bunny-hops and jump shots. Skill Based Matchmaking is in full force to the extent of disbanding lobbies to prefer better matches. Dead Silence is now a Field Upgrade instead of a perk, and when activated it actually alerts enemies with the activation sound. Mini-map player firing indicators are gone unless a UAV or Advanced UAV is up which is a major change. Proximity chat is a thing but wasn’t a problem for me. Out of all the matches I was in to level to 30 only 2 had anyone who was using it. I imagine they’re using discord or party chat instead.                Now for the good news!                Modern Warfare 2 BETA looks good, plays good, sounds good and is a lot of fun to play! You can load up in any match and have a blast. There’s plenty of different modes to choose from. Ground War and Invasion are staples for anyone wanting that Warzone 2.0 feel before it releases in November. The AI bots are even challenging. Search and Destroy isn’t usually my game, but I found myself really enjoying it. 3rd person view take a little getting used to and the cam angles still need some tweaks, but it is enjoyable. Really enjoyed Domination mode.                The gunsmith is different, but bringing back the 5 attachment limit and progressing across multiple weapons was a great choice by Infinity Ward. The receiver platforming system, like the UI changes, take a little getting used to at first but it’s definitely a better system overall. If you want to play with an Assault Rifle, a Battle Rifle, SMG, Sniper, Shotgun, LMG, or a Marksman Rifle you have plenty to choose from. It will take a little time to upgrade them fully but there are enough attachments to make them better at each unlock milestone. Snipers are solid, AR’s are well rounded, BR’s are great as sniper support IMO, SMG’s are Run ‘n Gun favorites, LMG’s need the recoil attachments but are good mounted while levelling. Shotguns feel OP right now, but are a good secondary to the SMG’s. Lethal equipment is great, knife throws are fun and natural. You also have your favorites like Frags, Semtex, Claymores, Mines, etc… Tactical you have a fair few to choose from including the new Shock Stix which can make a change in any encounter if timed right. Toxic gas is another favorite on domination maps, plus the flash, decoy and the regulars.                Killstreaks are still a great one and include one as a loadout. I also used the field upgrade loadout to replenish and replace my ammo and guns in Ground War and Invasion. I feel like this is going to be useful in Warzone 2.0. Just have a couple of teammates running this to get your loadouts ASAP as I was able to share with my teammates in the BETA.                To sum up, I think it’s a great addition to the COD universe and I can’t wait until it launches early so I can run the campaign ahead of the October 28 launch date. Then I’m looking forward to the WarZone 2.0 and DMZ launch on November 16. With new content and information to be released about the Raids throughout the rest of the year, it’s a good time to get in the game!

Cable Management – Necessary Nightmare

Cable Management – Necessary Nightmare June 12, 2022 Sometimes you have to take what you have and clean it up. You know you need to, you kinda want to but you need a little nudge. Today I got my nudge… Cable management is a necessary nightmare. Nobody wants to do it but it keeps your system looking clean and keeps your airflow unobstructed. My cable management before wasn’t the best, but it’s better now. Still some upgrades and work to do (cable extensions really clean up the case. Here’s the before image: First thing is, the EVGA RTX 3080 Ti FTW3 Ultra is so much larger than the EVGA RTX 3060 Ti FTW3 Ultra. Haven’t tested it out yet, but my monitor is now capables of 4K 240Hz gaming instead of the 1080p 240Hz I was originally gaming on. So excited to try it out, results will be posted after testing. This cable management is a nightmare and still needs improvement, but once installed it’s much cleaner. The card is so heavy it needs extra support, but Deadpool is always willing to lend a hand! Stay tuned, more to come.
